Our partners
- Suppliers: All the components needed for iLifebuoy will be purchased except for the Control unit, which will be developed and manufactured by us in our own facilities. This will enable us to accelerate production. To reduce production costs for iLifebuoy, we will use components that are easily available on the market. We chose to buy parts for RC Boat “NQD 757-Turbo JET”;50W water jet propulsion device. “VCA” UK will be subcontracted for “whole type approval”. We have identified the following potential suppliers which will be further assessed as part of the feasibility study: “Safety-Marine” Ltd.UK-corpus Life Buoy; “Luckylaker” – FF916 Sonar; “ YosooToy’s”- Jet Boat accessory;”GAO Research”Ltd.- Voice Activity Detector (VAD), Comfort Noise Generator (CNG) software; ”Nuance “- Speech Recognition; ”Samson Technologies” -Samson Go Mic Direct with noise cancellation technology Cardioid. To produce the Control unit we’ll use the new single-processor configuration of Drive PX 2, which is open computing platform. It enables iLifebuoy to use data from multiple sensors. Team of our company was developing a new “Fuzzy logic controller for water jets- it has enables us to accelerate production of iLifebuoy.
- Assembly partners: We have preliminary agreements and are currently in the quotation process with companies to carry out the assembly of iLifebuoy across Europe. During the FS we will investigate alternative options both for EU and globally.
- Sales Partners PureTech, MOBtronic and MARSS, companies specializing in developing and installing advanced MOB detection systems on ships / vessels. They are all established companies, with a large customer base, more than 45,000 hours of product testing/validation at sea. However, their main shortcoming is that they lack an ‘execution’ component – when they detect the MOB they just report on the Bridge. Consequently, iLifebuoy is a natural extension to their offering that will enable them to appeal to even more customers. As part of partnership, we will be able to directly contact their existing customers (all large cruising/ferry/shipping companies) and position iLifebuoy as a vital extension to their existing MOB detention systems. Consequently, this will be our first point of market penetration where we will able to acquire customers and share at the lowest possible cost.
